Railroad with over 40 years of service and the former minister of the Tygart Valley Baptist Church. He was proceeded in death along with his parents by a grandson, Justin Cox.... Dr. Arthur Wright, 79, of College Station Texas passed away on April 20, 2018 at Hudson Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center. A visitation will be held from Noon-2pm on Wednesday April 25th at the First Christian Church of Bryan at 900 S Ennis. Funeral services will be held following visitation at 2pm in the church. Interment will follow the service at College Station Memorial Cemetery, with the reception to follow at the First Christian Church.

After receiving his Ph.D., he moved to Texas, where he started a career as a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas. He served on the faculty of Texas A&M University in the Ag Economics Department. He helped to develop the Real Estate Research Center and was a founding member of the Bryan/ College Station Apartment Association.

He married Nancy Lucasey of Carthage on August 21, 1960. Arthur and Nancy attended high school and college together. They shared 58 years of marriage and belonged to the First Christian Church, where Dr. Wright was an active member who served as a Chairman of the Board, Elder, Elder Emeritus, and as a member of the choir. Jan L. Brundage passed away peacefully at home in Seattle, Washington with family by his side, on August 19, 2022, days shy of turning 88 years old. The cause was respiratory failure as a complication of pulmonary fibrosis, which he had battled for seven years.
